  • What exactly is a "network of professional recruiting firms" such as the Top Echelon Network?
    In a network of professional recruiting firms, hundreds to thousands of recruiters share information about their candidates and their job orders. (Please note, we will only submit your resume to the network if you give us permission.) This exposure can give a candidate who is open to relocation a significant advantage by exposing his/her qualities and achievements to many recruiters. Recruiters in the Top Echelon Network place candidates in middle- to upper-level positions in many specialties and industries, including engineering, manufacturing, data processing, sales, etc. Top Echelon Network Recruiters are involved in the hiring process on a daily basis with companies of all sizes.
  • How do these recruiters share their information?
    The Top Echelon Network provides us with access to their global database of thousands of candidates and job opportunities. When a recruiter is looking for candidates with a specific skill, he can search the database and find all of the candidates who meet that requirement. Top Echelon Network Recruiters can also search for the perfect career opportunity for a particular candidate. If submitted to the database, your resume can be viewed by numerous professional recruiters. It is quite possible that one of these recruiters may find that your resume meets their client’s needs.
  • Who will see my resume?
    Top Echelon Network Recruiters are ethical professionals who understand and respect your concerns. Because all Top Echelon Network Members must pass certain criteria before they are admitted into the network, the level of professionalism is very high.  We can ask our affiliates to keep your information confidential unless you give them authority to present it to a client company that may want to hire you. We can also submit your resume to the network as a "John Doe" with your name, contact and other identifying information removed.
  • Will I have to pay any fees?
    No. All career opportunities listed on the Top Echelon Network Database are those for which the client company pays all recruiting fees. You have nothing to lose . . . only opportunities to gain.
  • What do I have to do?
    Your best strategy is to be open and honest with us regarding salary and relocation preferences. Since professional recruiters across the globe have access to your resume, there is a chance that you may be considered for employment in another region of the country or world. Of course, you can choose which geographical region and even which salary level is best for you. In fact, you can choose to consider only opportunities in your home area with a specific salary. However, the most "place-able" candidates generally are open to relocation and have flexible salary expectations.
  • What should I expect?
    Each recruiter has different needs depending on the job opportunity that they are trying to fill for a client company. The market demand for your skills and qualifications will determine the amount of response you receive. If your resume is submitted to the network, it will remain active for nine months. During that time, you may receive calls directly from other members of the Top Echelon Network. The recruiters who are interested in your qualifications will maintain open communication with both you and us. We ask that you tell us about any contact that you have with our network affiliates. If you choose to be submitted to the network, we will discuss with you our routine for handling other recruiter’s requests.
  • I do not have to pay anything, and I may receive career opportunities? It just sounds too good to be true.
    Recruiters want and need to have the resumes of qualified candidates. In fact, we can better help our client companies fill positions if we have access to an extensive number of career-driven individuals. As a recent article in The Wall Street Journal states, "you never know when a recruiter might present a better opportunity." Since we recruiters earn our living by placing candidates within a company, we are grateful to have access to candidates who have valuable qualifications. Working with recruiters costs you nothing but provides us with another resource for the heart of our business.
  • How do I sign up?
    Just tell us that you are willing to be submitted to the network. You may be asked to fill out a form about your qualifications. We will do the rest. It is that easy!
